Jen is an entrepreneur who lives with Complex PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder from childhood trauma. Throughout her life, she has learned valuable coping skills and has made it her mission to help others to better understand their own emotions.
Jen created My Moody Monster from her own frustrations with her own emotions. Moody is a pull apart plush toy that has helped children to get out their frustrations in a safe way and giving families a tool to talk about emotions and communication. She believes by sharing her own story she can help others to know they are not alone. She has a YouTube channel which features her Moody Talks where she focuses on a emotion each month and teaches coping skills that have helped her with her own mental health.
Jen created the When Not Yet Becomes Right Now podcast after being a guest on Parenting and Mental Health podcasts and realizing she was telling my story of holding off on my healing journey until her brain said "Right Now." There are so many stories similar to Jen’s own of pushing off a journey that she wants to share with the world.
